Joseph and Talisha Anthony have been married for nearly ten years and are the proud parents of three children—Zachary, Nathan, and Jade.

Joseph brings a unique blend of pastoral leadership, creativity, and public health insight to the work of the Church. His background in ministry, preaching, music, and public health, including a Master of Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, shapes Ignite’s commitment to spiritual, emotional, and community wholeness. His leadership is marked by consistency, discernment, and a steady obedience to God’s call.

Talisha is an elementary school administrator with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a Master of Arts in Religion from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. Her passion for women’s empowerment, education, child development, and family systems informs Ignite’s heart for the next generation and for building healthy, thriving families.

The two met while singing in the gospel choir at Alabama A&M University. #GoBulldogs

After much prayer and a simple yes, Joseph and Talisha are stepping forward in obedience to plant Ignite Church, trusting God to breathe life into what He has already placed within His people.
