We Must Pray
You cannot work for God
without talking to God.
Ignite Church is being formed in prayer, shaped by submission, and rooted in a yes to God’s plan. Long before anything was announced publicly, our team has been praying, listening, and seeking God’s direction together. What you see taking shape now is the result of that ongoing prayer and obedience.
We believe God moves powerfully when His people agree together. If you feel led to pray with us in this season, we invite you into this space. Below are specific areas where we are asking for covering, alignment, and faith as Ignite Church continues to form.
1. Clarity of Vision and Direction
Pray that God would continue to bring clarity to the vision of Ignite Church, ordering every step and aligning every decision with His will.
Scripture:
Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it. — Habakkuk 2:2
2. Wisdom and Strength for the Journey
Pray for wisdom to discern what God is doing and strength to faithfully carry out what He reveals.
Scripture:
The Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him—the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might. — Isaiah 11:2
3. God’s Timing and Momentum
Pray that each step forward happens in God’s perfect timing, with grace and momentum following obedience.
Scripture:
The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and He delights in his way. — Psalm 37:23
4. The Right People and Unity
Pray that God would connect the right people at the right time: builders, leaders, intercessors, and families, with one heart and purpose.

How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity. —
Isaiah 11:2
5. Courage and Faithfulness
Pray for courage to follow God fully, boldness to move forward in faith, and trust when the path requires obedience before clarity.

6. Prepared Hearts and Open Doors
Pray for hearts across the DFW Metroplex and beyond to be open to what God is doing through Ignite. We also ask for prayer for those sensing a call to relocate, that God would provide peace, smooth transitions, job opportunities, and favorable doors.
Scripture:
The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest. — Matthew 9:37–38
7. A Strong Foundation in Christ
Pray that Ignite Church would be built firmly on Jesus Christ, sustained by prayer, faith, integrity, and love.
Scripture:
For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. — 1 Corinthians 3:11
