About Us

Mission Statement

We exist to ignite purpose, awaken faith, and lead people into the transforming presence of God.

Vision

We envision a Spirit-filled, multi-generational and multicultural church family where faith is nurtured, creativity is awakened, and those called by God are ignited to live with purpose. We are a safe, life-giving community where families are strengthened, gifts are activated, and people are empowered to carry God’s Kingdom into every sphere

Our Beliefs Ignite Us

Our Shared Faith Unites Us

At Ignite Church, what we believe shapes how we worship, how we live, how we serve, and how we love people. Our faith is centered on Jesus Christ, grounded in Scripture, and empowered by the Holy Spirit. These beliefs reflect the biblical foundations that guide our church and help us understand who God is, who we are, and how we are called to live in His Kingdom.

Statement of Beliefs

I - SCRIPTURE

Scripture

The Bible is inspired by God and reveals His heart, His character, and His redemptive story for humanity. We believe Scripture is trustworthy, Spirit-breathed, and authoritative for Christian faith and life. Through the Holy Spirit, the Word continues to speak, shape, correct, empower, and awaken believers to God’s purposes in every generation.

II — GOD

God

There is one God — Creator, Sustainer, and King — perfect in holiness, love, and power. God exists eternally and is revealed to us as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

III — JESUS CHRIST

Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is fully God and fully human. Conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary, He lived a sinless life, died for our sins, and rose bodily from the grave with all power. He ascended into heaven and reigns as King and High Priest. Through Him, the Kingdom of God has come near, and through Him, we are invited into a new way of life.

IV — THE HOLY SPIRIT

The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is active, present, and at work in the world today. The Spirit draws people to Christ, convicts the heart, gives new life, and dwells within every believer. The Spirit ignites purpose, awakens gifts, empowers us for holy living, and equips the Church for ministry and mission. We affirm the ongoing work of the Spirit — including spiritual gifts, Spirit-empowered worship, prayer, and bold witness.

V — HUMANITY

Humanity

Every person is created in the image of God and carries inherent worth, dignity, and purpose. We recognize the complexity of the human experience and believe that God meets people where they are, inviting all of us into a journey of grace, transformation, and renewed identity in Christ.

VI — SALVATION

Salvation

Salvation is the gift of God, received by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Through His life, death, and resurrection, we are forgiven, redeemed, restored, and invited into the Kingdom. Salvation is not only rescue from sin but entrance into a Spirit-led life of purpose, identity, and ongoing transformation.

VII — THE KINGDOM OF GOD

The Kingdom of God

The Kingdom of God is both present and future — inaugurated through Jesus and advancing through His Church. As followers of Jesus, we are called to partner with God in His mission: healing the broken, lifting the weary, proclaiming good news, and making disciples. We live with expectation, believing that God is still moving, still speaking, still saving, and still renewing.

VIII — THE RETURN OF CHRIST

The Return of Christ

Jesus Christ will return just as He promised. His coming is our blessed hope and fuels our urgency, passion, and devotion. We affirm His victorious return, His justice, and the ultimate fulfillment of the Kingdom.

IX — FUTURE HOPE

Future Hope

There will be a resurrection of the dead and the restoration of all things. Believers will experience eternal life in God’s presence. We trust God’s perfect mercy, justice, and wisdom concerning judgment and eternity.

X — THE CHURCH

The Church

The Church is the Spirit-formed community of believers who confess Jesus Christ as Lord. We are the Body of Christ — called, gifted, and empowered to represent the Kingdom on earth. We gather to worship, grow, serve, and carry His mission into every sphere of life.

XI — BAPTISM & COMMUNION

Baptism and Communion

Baptism is a public declaration that we belong to Jesus — identifying with His death, burial, and resurrection, and rising into new life. Communion is the table of remembrance, unity, and grace, where believers reflect on Christ’s sacrifice and proclaim His victory until He comes again.

XII — COMMUNITY & BELONGING

Community & Belonging

We believe the Church is a community shaped by grace. Every person who desires to know Jesus is welcome to walk this journey with us. We honor the image of God in every individual and recognize that people come from many different backgrounds, stories, and experiences. As we pursue Christ together, we commit to creating an environment marked by compassion, honor, and spiritual growth. We trust the Holy Spirit to guide, transform, and empower each believer as they discover their identity and purpose in God’s Kingdom.

Our Foundation

For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you...
